Mike has had the privilege of acting as first chair as well as being a part of some major litigation matters that have changed lives, including:- Obtaining a Preliminary Injunction and overcoming a Motion to Dismiss in the Eastern District of New York in relation to SEVIS;- Able to dismiss Removal Proceedings for client facing human trafficking charges;- Successfully negotiated with USCIS to obtain dozens of settlements in relation to Federal Mandamus Act;- While acting pro bono, successfully reversed a finding by the Department of Children and Families in Massachusetts of neglect against a daycare worker;- Part of teams that have obtained more than $100 Million in False Claims Act settlements for the United States;- Part of team that negotiated an attempted murder charge facing 25 years down to 2 and 1/2 years;- Advocated and successfully obtained asylum, bond, and other relief in Immigration Courts across the country for dozens of clients from around the world including such counties as Azerbaijan, Burkina Faso, Russia, Türkiye, and Ukraine under both Biden and Trump administrations.Mike also has a robust Entertainment Law practice, more information can be found here

About Mike
Mike DeRienzo is an attorney, teacher, and coach with a bachelors from Bentley University and a Juris Doctorate from Villanova University School of Law.He has appeared in front of courts all across the country fighting for his client’s rights in state and federal trial and appellate courts.His current practice is limited to Immigration litigation and Sports and Entertainment Law.He is currently a Lecturer at Bentley University and coaches their Women's Ice Hockey Club Team.Most importantly, Mike is a husband and father to a daughter and an overly zealous adult puppy.
